My name is Karen Kersting Hefner. I love abstract art - especially the flowing, fluid quality of alcohol inks.

Over the years, I've tried many different ways to express myself creatively. From woodworking, photography, and stained glass to acrylic painting. Recently, I discovered my love for abstract art and its outlet in alcohol inks. The originality and fluid movement of the inks creates stunning, surprising designs and endlessly satisfies my creative needs and desires as an artist.

A little bit about me: I'm a child of military parents and we moved around a lot before settling in a small college town in Georgia where I live with my husband and too many cats (is that possible?).
